Working Together

I believe that everyone deserves a space where they can speak openly and honestly. Your experiences, whatever they are, deserve to be heard without judgment. I also believe in your capacity for growth, and I'm here to walk alongside you as you navigate whatever has brought you to seek counselling.  But you won’t be doing it alone.

Evidence shows (as does my personal experience) that it is the quality of the relationship between us, as client and counsellor, that has the greatest impact on outcomes for you. So I won’t be merely holding up a mirror to you. I will also offer my most authentic self - full of curiosity, care, honesty, and hope - as we explore your experience together.

How We’ll Work

In my work with you, I draw on an Advanced Diploma in Counselling, with a focus on Integrative Therapy.  This means I have trained in a range of therapy modalities which will inform our work. The beauty of integrative work is its flexibility. As you grow and change through our sessions, our approach can evolve, too. At times, you may want specific help when facing a specific obstacle; other times, you may want to better understand how your past is affecting your present. Whatever your focus, the work we do will be tailored to your needs.

In our sessions, I’ll also pay close attention to how we relate to each other - sometimes patterns we experience elsewhere in our lives also show up in the therapy room. By gently noticing these together, we can understand them more deeply and test out new ways of relating — both here and beyond our sessions.

My role is to create a safe foundation from which we can explore different paths toward your growth and well-being, always keeping your goals and comfort at the centre of our work together.

What to Expect

I work predominantly online with adults who are resident in the UK. I offer weekly 50-minute sessions, and when booked, these slots are saved for you and you alone on a regular basis. The fee per session is £65.

Counselling works best when you feel that the therapy space is safe - allowing you to be as real and honest as possible. In fact, that’s the same for us both. Therefore, in order to check that we’re a good match for working together, I offer a free 15-minute video call, where questions can be answered and next steps agreed.
